The Goal:
To develop a wireless, low-power signaling system using NRF24 transceivers for real-time track communication and axle detection. The aim is to enhance railway safety by replicating and extending 4-aspect signaling with web-based monitoring and control.
1
The Challenge:
Encountered challenges in achieving an efficient PCB layout optimized for RF communication, power efficiency, and signal integrity. Careful attention was required for EMI reduction, grounding strategies, and reliable integration of NRF24 modules and sensors.
2
The Result
The system successfully demonstrated reliable wireless signal transmission, accurate axle counting, and real-time web-based monitoring. Achieved ultra-low power operation and seamless integration of PCB, sensors, and communication modules across all units.
